Measure, mark, cut and shape timber to specifications

Main tasks and duties:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Measure, cut and shape timber
  • Identify defects and perform repairs
  • Install doors, windows and other fixtures
  • Assemble and fasten materials to make framework
  • Install structures and shutters
  • Construct formwork
  • Erect scaffolding
  • Connect shutters via z-bars
  • Construct chutes for pouring concrete
  • Strike and stack shutters
  • Enforce OH&S requirements
  • Identify required materials
  • Place orders and select materials
  • Finish surfaces

Your new role
Your new role will be as a fully qualified Commercial electrician. You will be competent in all aspects of roughing in and fitting off light, power and data showing competence in switchboard wiring also. This is an ongoing position with an immediate start paying competitive rates.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be available for an immediate start having proven experience in the commercial space. You must be a team player always showing a careful eye for health and safety. Standard hours are Monday – Friday with the odd Saturday also.

Your new role
You will work within a team to complete a commercial build to a high standard and within a deadline. You will liaise with project managers and team members to achieve quality results.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be a trade qualified plumber and have a minimum 2 years post trade experience. You will need to have your own transport and be able to work between 40 and 50 hours per week.

What you’ll get in return
This is a challenging role working within a friendly team environment which will boost your qualifications and experience. You will be paid between $30-$35 per hour + penalties depending on your previous experience. There is the chance for an ongoing position for the right candidate.

Your new role
You will be working on a commercial fit out project in Brisbane CBD. This project is for 6 weeks with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to be a trade qualified painter with experience working in a commercial environment. You must have your white card. You will be able to work as part of a team and at times autonomously. You will need to provide your own tools.
